This is a “hand-on” simulation so participants can “experience” the power of waste identification and creating one-piece flow, in any business. We will provide a list of the 7-15 Deadly wastes as well as a worksheet for TAKT Time calculation, which is the “heartbeat” of the business and represents your daily customer demand, and how your business will be better able to meet your customer demand.
- Utilizing LEGO’s® blocks, we will run participants through four stages of improvement.
- Traditional Factory Layout, no flow, “Push” system
- Improved layout, 6S improvements, “Push” system
- One-piece flow, unbalanced, “Push” system
- One-piece flow, fully-balanced, “Pull” system
Whether your business is manufacturing, service, or transactions, there are 7-15 Deadly Wastes that keep your business from creating “flow.” These we call “anti-flow.” First you must be able to “see” the waste, then you have to know how to CREATE Flow.
